Because apparently I like to make life hard for myself, I’ve been making patterns for years but never actually taught myself to do it beginning to end in Illustrator. Even though I’m really fond of using Illustrator for lines and shapes, I’ve always brought objects into Photoshop to make patterns out of them. Today I finally cracked open a book and am learning how to do it all in one shot! This is my first attempt at a basic square repeat - very simple, but I’m learning!
